Hello. I’m Lori Palmquist, and I’d like to welcome you to this mini course, Choosing a Drip Method.

Drip irrigation is an important part of our lives now in California. It’s also poorly understood by many. This short course gets you started in correctly designing drip. It shows you the two major methods of drip and the reasons you would choose one over the other in any given situation. The two methods that we'll cover are point source and line source.

The other courses in this school dive directly into designing drip using one of these methods. Here I'll explain the reasons for choosing one method over the other.

This curriculum is the springboard where you'll jump off into a grand adventure whose destination is drip mastery. So I urge you to go all the way through to the end and take the exam. Passing the exam with a score of 75% or better will earn you a Certificate of Completion and a discount toward the next course.
